Lenovo Legion Mobile will officially arrive on 22 of July

Qualcomm publicly revealed on Wednesday an gradual upgrade to their high-end chipset. For two high-end gaming devices, the Asus ROG Phone 3 and the Lenovo Legion phone, the Snapdragon 865 + is already confirmed to be used.

Lenovo has now revealed that their latest smartphone would launch on July 22 – the same day as the planned release date for the Asus ROG Phone 3. The details was made available via a new teaser on Lenovo's Weibo account. The phone is to be revealed in Beijing at 7:30 PM local.

The latest Snapdragon 865 + offers the prime CPU core a 10 per cent clock-speed increase, and a marginally overclocked GPU. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and approved support for the 144Hz refresh rate displays are also eligible. The Lenovo Legion is supposed to have the same refresh rate display.

The Lenovo Legion should have an FHD+ display panel with a touch sampling rate of 270Hz, as per recent rumors and theories. There are 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM in tow, and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 capacity. There's also a quirky new twist on architecture with a landscape-preferred gui as per usability.

The Lenovo Legion will go head-to-head with the Asus ROG Phone 3 as it comes around on July 22 – scheduled to be revealed only hours apart.
